Every now and then you may end up with spare nuts, bolts, screws or washers. You don't want to throw them away. Keep them organized in a container (a tackle box works really good). One day you WILL be in need of a random bolt or screw and and that box of spares could save you a trip to the hardware store (not that going to the hardware store is a bad thing but it could still come in handy).

When buying paint, stay away from the cheapest brand. They never cover well or evenly and you’ll end up with double or triple work putting on extra coats. Spring for the good stuff, it will cover better, dry evenly and it will probably do the job in one coat.
Play football in the rain. As a kid, few things are better than diving for a touch down on a muddy field and being soaking wet. Have fun!
Every guy needs a best friend, by that, I mean a dog. They love you, protect you, learn cool tricks and can sometimes help attract cute girls. Just make sure to take proper care of them, nothing worse than a neglected dog.
"One thing I’ve realized is that you never stop learning from your father. Even when you’re an adult, and your dad is like, so old." — Excerpt from Fathers And Sons on Dad Revolution

Kenny (smonkyou on Twitter) as he remembers the words of Bruce Dickinson, the lead singer for Iron Maiden, “…the true meaning of amateur is someone who practices a study, sport or past time for the passion of it and the passion to learn it rather than for the money.”
“So little dude…find what your passion is and do that…if you get paid for it that’s awesome…if you pick it as a career but lose that passion run away, find something else to pay the bills and find your passion again. Stay an amateur (even if you get paid) it’s more fun.” – Written by Kenny to his baby son Miloh
